Course Content

COmanage Registry

Pre-Work: To prepare for the hands-on exercises during the in-person class, you will review materials and watch the short videos. These modules will provide the background needed for live instruction. 

People & Organizations: You will work with the virtual machine that you set up during your pre-work. You will set up your first CO (Collaborative Organization) and configure feeds from external sources to model and register the people in your organization. Finally, discuss how these concepts apply to your organization and needs.

Enrollment Workflows, Provisioning, and Offboarding: Try your hand at creating enrollment workflows, provisioning information for uses outside of the COmanage registry, and establishing offboarding policies.

COmanage Match

Getting to know COmanage Match: A basic introduction to COmanage Match. Explore how to manage duplicates and review the capabilities and structure of COmanage Match to address duplicates. Complete exercises to gain hands-on experience in creating and configuring Matchgrids.

Understanding Systems of Record in Match: Review how to link sources that contain records you want to compare using Match, including configuring the Systems of Record and the methods for adding records to Match. Complete exercises to gain hands-on experience defining Systems of Record for use within Match.

Match Attributes: Review how to plan your strategy for matching records across various sources of record is to establish what attributes (fields) about the data subject you will use to determine matches. Complete exercises to gain hands-on experience configuring the Attributes you will use for matching.

Developing Match Rules: Learn how to configure your rules for the sources in your Matchgrid. Complete exercises to gain hands-on experience in developing matching rules.

Building Test Sets: Learn how to build test sets and use them to evaluate how your match rules will perform on the type of data that you will be evaluating. Complete exercises focused on Troubleshooting & Testing Match rules.

Resolving Potential Matches: Learn how to configure your rules for the sources in your Matchgrid. Complete exercises to gain hands-on experience in developing matching rules.
