California Community Colleges and InCommon

InCommon and the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO) have developed a CCC-specific addendum to the InCommon Participation Agreement. This addendum has been approved by both organizations. Please note that this agreement must be signed by the Community College District.

Fees for new InCommon participant CCC districts have been paid centrally by the CCCCO. 

1. Sign the Agreement and Addendum

2. Send the Agreement and Addendum

Send the signed agreement to help@incommon.org. As part of this agreement, you will designate your InCommon Executive who will the key contact between your organization and InCommon. Be sure the agreement is signed by an authorized representative of your organization.

Benefits for the CCC

Immediate savings for server and other certificates — Under a contract with the CCC Chancellor’s Office and InCommon, CCC schools can enroll in the InCommon Certificate Service at no additional cost. The Certificate Service offers unlimited SSL, Extended Validation, Client, and other certificates for all of your domains. Single sign-on convenience with participating services in the US. and globally.

Single sign-on for CCC systemwide technology offerings — Low or no-cost CCC offerings available via the InCommon Federation, including Common Assessment, the Common Course Management System (Canvas), Education Planning, Degree Audit, Retention (Hobsons/Starfish), Portal, CCCApply, and all systemwide technology.
