Prerequisite Note: While the Grouper Core Training is a prerequisite for this live training, participants with existing equivalent Grouper knowledge or experience may attend this course directly. However, we strongly recommend the Core Training package for most learners to ensure a comprehensive foundation and maximize the value of the instructor-led sessions. Course Description
This course provides hands-on experience applying concepts from Grouper Basics, Advanced Group Management & Access Control, Managing Grouper Privileges, and Grouper Administration & System Operations in real-world situations.
You will learn to integrate Grouper with applications, set up application structures, and implement access policies. The course also covers how to edit policies and manage access as ticket-based adjustments arise, ensuring participants can effectively provision data and adapt to changing requirements.

Access
Course materials are hosted in InCommon Academy’s Canvas platform, where you’ll have access for two months from your purchase date.
You’ll receive access to a virtual machine environment during the training for completing hands-on exercises in a secure Grouper instance.
Upon registration, you’ll receive a welcome email with detailed access instructions to begin your learning journey.

Live Courses: Payment, Cancellation, and Refund Policy
For each scheduled live training session, cancellations received on or before 11:59 PM EST 10 days prior to the event start date are entitled to a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. There will be no refunds after this date. If you cancel after this deadline and have not paid by any other means, your credit card will be charged the cost of the registration fee.
If you need to cancel your registration within the no-refund period, you may transfer your registration to another person from your organization or defer to a future live training session within the same calendar year, subject to availability. To cancel, transfer, or make changes to your registration, please contact meetingregistration@internet2.edu.
Course Terms & Conditions
In the event that a live course does not meet the minimum enrollment requirements, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the course. Participants will be notified approximately 10 days before the course start date if minimum enrollments have not been met. In such cases, participants will have the choice to either receive a full refund for the live session or utilize their payment as credit towards a future scheduled session within the same calendar year.
