The upcoming holidays will affect the InCommon Federation metadata signing schedule.
Thanksgiving
Internet2 offices, thus InCommon, will be closed on November 25, 26 and 27, 2020. There will be no metadata signing on those three days.
Winter Seasonal Holidays
Internet2 offices will be closed from December 24, 2020, reopening on January 4, 2021. The last day of the regular daily metadata signing is Wednesday, December 23, 2020. During the holidays, InCommon operations will perform one metadata signing on December 30, 2020. Regular daily metadata signing will resume on January 4, 2020, at 3 pm ET.
We encourage InCommon Federation participants to refrain from making any significant changes that may affect the ability to interoperate with other federation participants during this time. Given that our offices will be closed, we will have limited ability to help correct any problems.
