Registration is open for the next Grouper School, which will take place online October 13 – 16, 2020. Sessions will be held each day from 1-5 pm ET over the four-day period.

The training session, which is hosted in Canvas, will cover both basics and advanced features of Grouper and will use the containerized version of the software that is part of the InCommon Trusted Access Platform. Since we are using virtual machines, no Docker experience is necessary. Other topics include Grouper access governance, the Grouper security model, and Grouper administration.

The class also requires approximately 16 hours of assignments (also hosted in Canvas) to be completed prior to the first day of class. Class size is limited to 40 so we can provide the best experience for attendees. More information is available here.

Registration remains open for the Shibboleth workshop, September 15-18, also hosted in Canvas. Attendees will install a prototype identity provider and service provider via the containerized version of Shibboleth that is part of the InCommon Trusted Access Platform. The workshop also covers configuration, running the software in production, and integration with other components.

The InCommon Academy also provides training for both COmanage and midPoint. You can find tentative dates for these sessions and others, on the Academy software training web page.
