In response to the global pandemic, the InCommon Academy has gone virtual in 2020. You can still learn more about installing and configuring the containerized versions of the InCommon Trusted Access Platform components, but from a new vantage point of your home office or dining room table.

Each of these courses are a blend of self-paced learning through our learning management system, exploring the software through scripted lab exercises in your very own virtual machine, and access to instructors who are ready and eager to help solve your identity and access management challenges. Class sizes are limited to provide individualized attention.

Ready to enroll? Registration is open for our fall line up:

Shibboleth Workshop – September 15 – 18 and December 1 – 4

Shibboleth is the single sign-on federating software. The workshop focuses on installing and configuring the packaged software and includes information about using DevOps to modernize your environment. The workshop features self-paced modules and labs, along with a dedicated Slack channel for the class. Instructors meet with registrants daily Tuesday – Friday to answer questions.

Grouper School – October 13 – 16

Grouper is the enterprise access management software that offers management of groups, roles, and permissions. The virtual workshop focuses on core Grouper features and is delivered through self-paced learning, access to a class Slack channel, and four half day sessions delivered through Zoom.

COmanage Class – November 10 – 13

COmanage is an identity registry with flexible enrollment and lifecycle management capabilities. The two-day class covers deploying and configuring COmanage, as well as how to model your organization or collaboration for best results.

midPoint Basics – December 8 – 11

midPoint is a general purpose IdM and governance system noted for its ability to synchronize and reconcile among systems of record and identity sources. The three-day virtual class will cover installation and configuration, as well as tips on configuring resources and creating organizational structures.

Curriculum details and registration are available for all of these classes.
